Our Graduates
From 2001 – 2014 , SSSNY has trained 545 youth from Shan State. Our graduates are working in community based organizations along the Thai-Burma border and inside Burma in wide ranging fields, from providing services in the community, capacity building, carrying out empowerment programs, and carrying out documentation and advocacy from local to international levels on various issues affecting their communities such as the environment, women’s rights, education, community media, community health and migrant rights.
The Graduate Program aims to promote network opportunities for the graduates in their work for social and political change in Burma.
